Placemaking Week 2017

Worked with a small team at Project for Public Spaces to plan and execute Placemaking Week, a 400-person program in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, including a two-day conference, public space evaluations, and parties. Sessions focused on the intersection of many global issues—from city building and transportation to equity, wellbeing, and innovation.

Roles: Program planning, speaker management, coordination with local partners, event evaluation, general logistics

Building Boston

Worked with staff at the Boston Society of Architects and BSA Foundation to develop a longterm exhibit about architecture, planning and development in Boston. Focused around a city model of Boston, the display infrastructure is designed to grow and change over time, reflecting new buildings, new plans, and new challenges in the city around it. → Read More

Jane’s Walk Providence 2013–15

Served as City Organizer for Providence’s first, second and third Jane’s Walk, a festival of free walking tours led by locals held on the first weekend of May in cities around the world to celebrate the legacy of urban thinker Jane Jacobs.  → Read More

Worked with curators and communications firm Faust to reimagine the interpretive surround of the Chicago Architecture Foundation’s flagship exhibit, a scale model of downtown Chicago, including the prototyping of a new digital kiosk about the making of the model.  → Read More
